Hiya Everyone,  I went to Crazy Chris's "In the Pink 2006", event on Saturday, and if you were there you will know what a fantastic day it was!  Scotch Horn Leisure Centre, Nailsea hosted the event, and when I walked into the sports hall, I really believed I had walked into Barbie's house. Chris, Katie, Dom and a veritable army of family & friends had worked incredibly hard all morning to turn it into a pink menagerie. They really did Cancer Research UK and the Pink Campaign proud.  Unfortunately, I missed the afternoon workshop - due to impending exams!! (urgh!! - would rather be dancing). I heard that it was brilliant though, with Crazy Chris and Rob Fowler giving the dancers plenty to think about and a whole host of really well received new dances.
The evening had a brilliant atmosphere, with everyone thoroughly enjoying Big Chris spinning the decks and filling the floor with a really good mix of the old and the new, allowing everyone the opportunity to get up and dance. It was great to see the beginners being able to join in so much as well.  Part way through the evening it was time to do a quick recap of all the afternoons new dances. Just one little hitch! A certain Mr Fowler had decided to charge his mobile phone using his car charger, and not that I am saying he got lost or anything, but after a slight detour along the M4 he was back and raring to go!!  Towards the end of the evening, Chris gave a lovely speech thanking everyone for their support for this really well deserving charity, and also making the sad announcement that this is the last year for Crazy Gang's 'In the Pink' event, but that they will continue to support the charity in other ways.  All in all another absolutely brilliant event from Crazy Gang Entertainment, and the best of luck to them in their future ventures which I am sure will be just as fantastic.
I look forward to seeing you all on the dance floor soon.

Dear Chris and Katie,  Thank you for a super day on Saturday, I hope you made lots of money for the charity!  Once again you excelled yourselves with the decoration of the hall and the organisation of the event. WE were all very sad to hear that there wont be a pink dance next year and we will really miss it.  Hope to see you at your next dance at Claverham

Dear Chris and Katie what can I say but WOW what a great day. I am seriously impressed with how smooth an operation you guys run! The atmosphere was really happy and friendly, The raffle huge, The decoration impressive - All in all a very slick professional day. I do hope the evening was as good fun and that you are not too tired. I am aware of how much hard work goes into putting on such a successful event and on behalf of Cancer Research UK Thank you very much for Your Continuing support and hard work.
Kind Regards

Just got back from Nailsea after the In The Pink charity event in aid of Breast Cancer Research. Hosted by Chris and Katie Adams. They both together with all there helpers put every effort into making it an event to remember.  All the decorations in the hall, the raffle prizes, the demos! John and Jo Kinser did demos of west coast swing but the best by far was Chris Katie Helen Meg and Steph doing a fun routine to some music or other. Sorry to sound vague but it was all hand movements and some leg movements but very fast. Very difficult to describe. Even funnier was when they started to go wrong with the synchronisation - well we thought so. Was good only learning 3 dances in the afternoon. No brain overload! I hope chris and Katie raised loads and loads of money for charity well done. The raffle was fantastic - Loads of pink items. Hope everyone got a laugh from my outfit!

Well done guys for a great weekend.  Forgot how many hours of dancing we do when we head down to join you in Bristol. I'm sure you will have raised a great amount once again. It is amazing just how many shades of pink there are. Thanks for all the effort you put into making these Charity events work!! You should be proud. Enjoyed the swing class today. For those of us who haven't tried it yet.
See you on the dance floor soon. Love

Hi all, Wanted to share my positive feedback on Crazy Chris and Katie's In The Pink event on Saturday in Nailsea. I hadn't been dancing for a couple of weeks due to illness so was worried I would be a bit rusty but
no fear I remembered them. Plenty of chance to dance my favourites old and new. Thanks Crazy Chris and Chris Higham for DJ'ing. By the end of the night I was totally shattered I danced my little feet off well done to Chris and Katie for such a great day. They organised the event so well. They should be very proud of what they achieved - £3,000 raised. Know they couldn't have done it all without there helpers well done to them too.  Looking forward to next years event

Hi Chris & Katie many thanks for reserving me my ticket for last nights pink disco. I thought it was a class event and you and Katie deserve huge credit for organising a thoroughly professional and most enjoyable evening. I've been dancing for a long time and I've attended many discos social events and weekends away but I've never seen so many top quality dancers on the floor at one venue. I didn't know a lot of the dances, but it was great fun and pleasure just to watch really talented dancers performing so well and obviously enjoying themselves.  Congratulations on the event and on raising such a magnificent sum for the charity. I hope you and Katie have a restful day today.
See you soon

Hi all just got back from In The Pink (for breast cancer research).  Its 2:04am and I'm to tired to sleep right now. So ill do my report.  Arrived in sunny Nailsea (well it was when we got there) with Tracy and Elaine in tintin.  After a couple of wrong turns found the Leisure Centre.  DJs were Crazy Chris And Big Chris all day and night. Chris and Chris played some excellent dances and kept us going for the majority of the day with oldies and newies, easy and hard. Everyone dressed up in pink.  Helen Jacobs received a prize of a pink CD player for best dressed lady - she looked lovely in her pink dress and Alan Birchall received a blue CD player for best dressed man. Many many pink prizes for the raffle.  Sorry Jenny you didn't win anything (I remembered your fiver) Our table will lay testament to that. I won a cuddly pink teddy bear but we all missed
out on the generously donated diamante belt from GEM-N-I. The Scotch Horn Leisure Centre is a really nice venue. The floor is wonderful, if not a little too slippy, but I was fine in my trainers. The cafe and bar stayed
open until 11pm and the staff were nice and friendly. There were plenty of places to eat in the break, the Town Centre is a very short walk away and the 24 hour Tesco was next door, although the cafe there didn't have anything left to eat when we got there. Had some yummy cheesy chips instead and sat and ate them in tintin. Chris and Katie raised in the region of £3,000 for Breast Cancer Research £800 last year and £200 the year before!
well done Ta ta for now
